The singer who is currently doing a residency in Paris through Oct. 5, performed at La Seine Musicale on Sunday and sang his song “Boyfriend” in front of actressGabrielle Union.
“Well, he should know I’m pretty — OK, let’s stop. Let’s not get carried away. This is Dwyane Wade, I ain’t crazy,” Usher joked as he shook the formerNBAplayer’s hand. “That man will knock my whole head off and then dunk it."
“What’s up, king?” Usher asked Wade, 41, as the pair laughed and exchanged a hug.
Usher captioned the fun footage, “Look, I don’t want no smoke 😅 👐🏾 Night one in Paris … "

The pair havesince moved onfrom the issue and even attendedBeyoncé’sRenaissancebirthday show together at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles earlier this month. The actress and musician alsoshowcased photos of Jackson, as well as their sonLeo(born in February), during a sweet slideshow as part of herBig Boss Tourstop at Webster Hall in New York City on Monday.
Asked about the moment, Usher told PEOPLE in August, “Every night I’m thinking about how the world now isgoing to react to this momentthat I’ll have with whoever I’m choosing to sing to.”
“But it was a pop moment, and it was fun to have at least conversation going and we just keep it light,” he added. “I don’t see anything negative happening in Las Vegas.”

Usher has been busy as of late, as he kicked off his Paris residency on Sunday and it was recently announced that hewill be headlining the 2024 Super Bowl Halftime Show.
Using the introduction of the singer’s “Confessions” music video, the video announcement showsKim Kardashiantelling Usher that he will be headlining the Apple Music event, which will take place on Feb. 11, 2024, at the Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.
The performance will mark the “My Way” hitmaker’s second Super Bowl appearance. He previously performed at the event in 2011, when theBlack Eyed Peaswere headlining.
