Timothée Chalametis commenting on a memorable concert experience.
Asked for his favorite concert-going experience of 2023, Chalamet, 27, drew a blank beforeHorowitz reminded himof the Sept. 4 Beyoncé appearance in Los Angeles.
“You went to Beyoncé. That is documented, I will say that,” joked Horowitz, as Chalamet laughed and said, “That’s right.”
The concert marked the actor’sfirst public outing with Kylie Jenner, 26, after a sourceconfirmed to PEOPLEin April that the two had been “hanging out and getting to know each other.”
“I was actually surprised,” Chalamet told Horowitz of the concert. “I’m not, like,Beyhive-level, but I thought I knew way more [songs]. But I guess I know some of the more basic hits.”
Beyoncé’s 2009 single “Halo,” he added, is one such hit. “‘Halo’ was a great, moody, 12-year-old head against the bus [window] song.”
Ina videoshared on social media, Chalamet and Jenner could be seen at the Sept. 4 concert chatting, laughing and kissing while standing in a box at SoFi Stadium.

Playing Willy Wonka, the Oscar nominee recalled he “found a wonderful rhythm” while filming in England, although at first the pressure to bring a beloved character new life felt “stifling.”
“It felt like, ‘Oh, man, this is a huge task I’m taking on and a big character. And I hope this works,’ ” said Chalamet. “It was really humbling. Compared toThe King, even, orDune, or things that were evidently going to be exhausting, this was sneakily really physically challenging.”

He also confirmed thatGreta Gerwighad wanted to cast both him andSaoirse RonaninBarbieafter working with them onLady BirdandLittle Women, but wasn’t sure what role that would have been. “I think it was one of these rejected Kens or Barbies,” said Chalamet.
“It’s a rule for Saoirse and I,” he joked of his costar. “We gotta coordinate, we gotta move in unison.”
Of reprising his leading role as Paul Atreides in the upcoming follow-up to 2021’sDune, Chalamet shared that costarAustin Butler“crushed it.” Filming the sequel felt “amazing,” he added, because “it felt like everybody’s game had stepped up.”
