The Carters —including former President Jimmy Carter, 99— came together for an intimate funeral service in Plains, Georgia, at Maranatha Baptist Church, where Jimmy previously taught Sunday school. The memorialfollowed Tuesday’s more public tribute, at whichall four living former first ladies were present, along with former President Bill Clinton, President Joe Biden, First Lady Jill Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris and second gentleman Doug Emhoff.

Wednesday’s service marked the last commemorative event of the week before Rosalynn is interred at the Carters' longtime family residence in Georgia.
