Kody Brownis reflecting on what could have been following the collapse of his polygamous familywithin 14 months.

During part 3 of theSister Wives Talk Backspecial, Kody, 54, admitted that his exChristine Brown“fundamentally adjusted everything” when she came into the family after the pair got married in 1994.

He claims that she put the kibosh on another woman joining the family even before she became official with Kody, saying, “There was a woman that I was courting for a very long time before I marriedJanelle. Her andMeriwere friends. After I married Christine, she still wanted to be family. Christine shut it down the first time because Christine and I were friends, she says, ‘I’d never marry you if you married her.’”

He added: “And then Christine had no interest in having her in the family after Christine had come into the family.”

However, Christine, 51, recalled her and Kody’s history differently, explaining, “I didn’t try to prevent Kody from getting married again. I just don’t even remember her wanting to marry Kody. It’s just a lie. I’m sorry, that’s just a lie. And why is he living in the past? Why is this relevant to anything [now]?”

Kody shared that he was “going back” through their relationship because there were “sacrifices I made to love Christine.”

Janelle took issue with Kody’s stance, saying, “Oh man, the sacrifice to love you. I’m like, I would have decked him at that point. What the hell?”

“She wasa s— sister wife,” he said, also claiming Christine “never tried” and “was never there.”

After Christineannounced the end of her plural marriagewith Kody two years ago, she laterconfirmed her relationship with David Woolleyin February. The pairgot engagedin April andtied the knotin October.

“Every one of us is having our own struggle with the reality of this experience,” he explained. “Every one of us is having a struggle with the fact that we have years together and now we’re dissatisfied enough to say we can’t work this out anymore.”

The Brown family patriarch added that everyone’s had “good days and bad days” during their collective experiences “going through divorce.”
