Reese Witherspoonbrought a very stylish date to the2024 Critics Choice Awards— her daughter Ava Phillippe.

Her daughter, Ava, 24, wore a black Monique Lhuillier minidress (covered in pearls!) with Christian Louboutin heels and a Celine bag.
Witherspoon shared their looks onInstagram, writing, “Mother daughter date night.”
At the 2024 Golden Globes on Jan. 7, the actress looked elegant as ever in a black velvet Monique Lhuillier dress with a pink satin bodice, teamed with Jimmy Choo shoes and Tiffany & Co. jewelry.
But it was her plus-one on the red carpet that had everyone talking —20-year-old son Deacon Phillippe! (The actress is mom to sons Deacon and Tennessee, as well as Ava.)
While walking the red carpet,Deacon opened up toVarietyabout attending the event for the very first time.
“This is my first Golden Globes and really my first awards show,” he said in an interview before the awards show.
He also revealed the top things his mom told him to do at the show. “There’s two main things: gum, hand sanitizer and be nice to everyone,” Deacon explained.

When asked about whether he had a curfew for his big night now, Deacon said he was just following his mom’s lead. “I’m following her tonight,” he shared. “She’s the party animal and I’m just trying to keep up.”
