The dog, who was stuck in a canal in Palm Bay, was pulled out of the mud after the Palm Bay Police Department received a call that morning informing them of the animal,NBC affiliate WFLAreports. When the officers arrived on the scene, they noticed the dog was trapped “a few feet from solid ground,” according to WFLA....

North Carolina police are looking for the man they believe shot former NFL quarterback Anthony Wright after a domestic squabble on Monday. Jones, 69, was charged with the death of Joshua Sawyer in 2017, about a year before she was set to be released from a previous conviction. Sawyer died from a toxic level of the anti-seizure drug Dilantin while in Jones’ care at Bexar County Hospital in 1981....
