Kim Kardashianwent up againstTom Brady— for a good cause!
At the event, which raised $24 million for criminal justice reform, the duo playfully fought one another for a painting at an auction. After going back and forth with bids, both eventually each gave $2 million.
Kardashian and Brady said they would work it out among themselves who would get to take home the artwork, and George Condo, the artist behind the painting, even agreed to craft a second one for whoever left empty-handed.
Brady also offered up an unwashed Tampa Bay Buccaneers jersey from when he scored his 700th career touchdown as another bid item during the event.

Kardashian and Brady’s attendance at the weekend event took place after they both went to Michael Rubin’s star-studded White Party in The Hamptons over the Fourth of July weekend earlier this year.
Though rumors later swirled about a romance between the pair,two sources told PEOPLEthat they had minimal interaction at the festive gathering. “[They] said hi briefly when she arrived at the party,” the first source said, as a second noted, “Kim and Tom barely even spoke at the party and barely even said hello.”
Despite that, a third source told PEOPLE there is still nothing romantic happening between the SKIMS mogul and Brady. “They are friends and have a lot of respect for each other,” the source said.

Robert Rooks, the CEO of REFORM Alliance, spoke exclusively with PEOPLE about the event, which he said made him “quite emotional.”
“When I started work 25 years ago, never in my wildest dreams would I imagine a night like tonight,” he explained. “This is extraordinary. We have people from all across the world flying in to celebrate the work of REFORM, to help us raise money, to continue to change laws in states and work to implement laws we have passed and working at the county level, and to address this broken system.”
As for what it meant to him to have the support of so many stars, Rooks detailed, “I think it shows how we’ve been able to tell a story about the broken system and the need for us to come together as a community, as a society, to fix it.”
“This has also come at a time when we need momentum and support because the truth matters,” he added. “Crime is on the minds of Americans all across the country, and Americans want to know what are we doing about it. How can we create real safety and reform?”
