Jamie Lee CurtisandLindsay Lohancelebrated flashback Friday in the best way possible!
“Too late. YOU GREW UP and SO BEAUTIFULLY! Well, it’s Friday, andthe strike is overso hopefully, we can switch places again in the near future!@lindsaylohan@disney,” shared Curtis in the caption. The post included a sweet photo of the actresses smiling as they looked straight into the camera.
When speaking to PEOPLE in November 2022,the Oscar winnersaid there was “a lot of good talk going on” about a sequel to the 2003 Disney film andopened up about her interest in wanting to work with Lohan again.
“There would be nothing I would love more, honestly, than to be able to work with her again, share our time again, and now be able to share it at this age with both of us 20 years older, or whatever we are,” she said.
As for what the follow-up film could look like, Curtis previously shared during anappearance onThe Viewthat she would love to playan “old grandma who switches bodies” with Lohan.

“So then Lindsay gets to be the sexy grandma, who is still happy withMark Harmonin all the ways you would be happy with Mark Harmon,” she explained. “And simply, I would like to see Lindsay be the hot grandma, and I would like to see me try to deal with toddlers today. I wanna be a helicopter parent in today’s world, as an old lady.”
In a jointinterview withThe New York Times,Lohan confirmed that she and Curtis are both open to the possibility of doing a sequel andsaid they are “leaving it in the hands that be.”
“We would only make something that people would absolutely adore,” she added.
Although it has been 20 years since the original film’s debut, the two have maintained a close friendship. After Lohanwelcomed her son Luaiwith her husbandBader Shammasin July, Curtis sent the couple aspread of children’s books.
