How do you deal with your anti-science family during the holidays?

For the next few calendar week it will be holiday time of year , and tons of us will be visiting with folk . There will be good clip , but a lot of us will have sticky minute with families who suspect or reject science . How do you lot with it when that happens ?

There are a lot of ways that the skill debate can come up during the holidays . Obviously , there is the religious facial expression of the difference . But there are other sides to it , too . In my family , there was often a sight of hippie talking about how substitute practice of medicine was sound than vicious Big Pharma . allow ’s just say that I was n’t always graceful or rational in my attempts to explain that skill has done a slew of goodness in the public , even if there are some evil greedy corporations out there .
