Natalia Bryantreceived some expert advice before her runway debut.
Ahead of Bryant’s first runway appearance atMilan Fashion Week, supermodelGigi Hadidshared some advice for the young model.
In an Instagram post forVogue, Bryant, 20, was tasked with asking her peers what she should expect for her first show, while she was met with a variety of advice, she and Hadid, 28, shared a special moment.

Hadid quickly shared a snippet of what she told Bryant, “I said to just try to take in the moment and let yourself like remember it.”
Hadid, who also walked the Versace show, shared some behind-the-scenes intel with Bryant and followers, “In the rehearsal, they’re gonna tell you to walk fast. They’re gonna yell. They’re gonna scream at you to walk fast.”
Hadid finished her advice with encouraging words, “You’re gonna be great. I love you! I’m so proud of you I’m gonna cry.” As the clip concludes, Bryant candidly replies, “No I’m freaking out. I’m gonna cry.”

Hadid wasn’t the only model who offered the newbie some advice,Amelia Gray Hamlin, told Bryant “Own it! Just walk.” She added, “Just be comfortable and just do it. You’re going to slay.”
Precious Lee also offered Bryant some advice, as well as her surefire confidence. “Think of something you want to keep in mind,” said Precious Lee. “I own everything. Everything is mine. But you can borrow it if you need to.” Bryant eagerly replied, “That would be great.”
Bryant made her debut on Sept. 22, 2023, at the Versace Spring/Summer 2024 Show during Milan Fashion Week. In addition to the Versace Spring/Summer 2024 Show, the model also walked the runway during the Boss Spring/Summer 2024 show later that day.
Ahead of her debut, theIMG modeltoldVogue, “I am beyond excited about making my runway debut. It’s such an incredible opportunity and I’m so grateful toDonatella[Versace] and am honored that she has invited me to be a part of something so special."
Bryant explained she met Versace on Thursday, Sept. 21, who instantly made Bryant feel at ease.
“She was just so welcoming and sweet and made me feel so comfortable, especially with it being my first runway,” said Bryant. “Meeting her definitely helped settle any nerves.”
Along with encouragement from Versace, Bryant also received motivational words from the model she draws the most inspiration from, supermodelNaomi Campbell. “She encourages me to have my own walk and establish my own way of doing things,” revealed Bryant.
She added, “I’ve always loved watching videos of Naomi walking down the runway along with videos of other iconic supermodels I look up to. My mom says, ‘Walk like Naomi but remember to be yourself, put your own style to your walk and always with your head held high.’ ”
While Bryant has support from those on the Milan runways, the eldest Bryant daughter has her mother,Vanessa Bryant, supporting her from the front row.
To share in her excitement and support, Vanessa, 41, posted onInstagram“Natalia, I’m so proud of you! You did it mama!!!! I love you so much and I’m so happy for you @nataliabryant ! Bellísima! 😘.”
