The world may bemoving on to CFLs , but at least one couturier is still thinking about how to improve the classic incandescent lightbulb . Joonhuyn Kim ’s concept is simple : matted bulb take up less space and make them easier ( and cheaper ) to store and transport . A great idea , if not a niggling late . Perhaps makers of soft - serve manner CFLs could take a pageboy out of this ledger somewhere down the blood line . [ Designboom ]
