The new Dell Axim X30s have been reviewed by PDABuyersGuide , the ones with the unexampled Intel XScale PXA2702 “ Mr. Bulverde ” processors . All three Modern example are absolute performance beasts , with even the low - end model , which runs at a ostensibly slow 312MHz , tearing up benchmarks set by previous Axims and iPaqs — even those running XScale PXA250s at 400MHz . Not only that , but the Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition PDAs are bargain price , get down at $ 199 for the basic model , $ 249 for a 312MHz interlingual rendition that adds incorporate Bluetooth and WiFi , and only $ 349 for the top - close with the amazing 624MHz C.P.U. . There are a duad of downside , namely some incompatibilities with some older games ( probably a symptom of Windows Mobile 2003 SE , and not the PDAs themselves ) , average - resolution 320 x 240 QVGA show ( WM2K3 SE stick out up to 640 x 480 ) , and fairly worthless battery life , even for a PocketPC . But hey , what do you have a bun in the oven for a PDA that is almost as dissipated as my last laptop ?
