The formal announcement from Canon should be coming by and by this calendar week at the Canon EXPO event happening in New York City . They are also reporting that this new HDV XL-2 will only immortalise in 1080i and not 720p . Also the XL-2 will not sustain 24p . Expect to pay at least $ 10,000 for this beast . More confirmed details will get along later this calendar week after the conventional announcement .
