As theWall Street Journalnotes , Amazon is sharply test to make Black Friday a right shopping vacation in Europe , despite the fact that the continent does n’t observe the North American vacation of Thanksgiving . The online retailer started its braggy energy in 2010 , and Black Friday has really gained some serious traction in France and the UK during the past decade .
America is even exporting its stampede , as the Wall Street Journal explains that there were “ a small number of violent incidents ” in the country during 2013 ’s Black Fridaysales . Who says America does n’t export thing any longer ?
Black Friday , like many “ holidays , ” was contrive as a fake vacation for the 24-hour interval after Thanksgiving to force retail sale . Most vacation are “ fake ” inone way or another . But as national border dissolve and the creation economy truly becomes one mammoth interlocking behemoth with each passing decade , we ’re begin to see a big thrust by retailers for countries to adopt everyone else ’s vacation .
