Inspired by retro advertsforA New Hope‘s continuation before anything had been filmed forEmpire Strikes Back , the new teaser for time of year 2 , the new trailer was made entirely of concept art for the season , with voiceover narration tease apart the come battle between the New Republic and the Imperial Remnant .
The teasing admit glimpses of swift fight between New Republic and Remnant ship , with Ezra suiting up alongside New Republic pilots to take the competitiveness to the Empire . Meanwhile , in the other galaxy where Ahsoka and Sabine continue after season one , we get a line shots of the Master and Padawan exploring ancient ruins , and struggle jumbo , old droid guardians , with narration badger a final confrontation with Baylan Skoll to climax their journeying .

It also brought Grand Admiral Thrawn ( Lars Mikkelsen ) to subsist - action for the first time , and featured the return of Hayden Christensen as succeeding Darth Vader Anakin Skywalker .
